On June 13 2025, we had the privilege of hosting a distinguished delegation from the Swedish Embassy, led by H.E. Ambassador Annika Hahn-Englund, accompanied by Mr. Seyifunmi Adebote, (Communication and Promotion Officer) and Ms. Nickie Akosa, (Swedish Honorary Consul) at our facility in Accra. The visit centred on Miniplast’s solar energy installation and broader sustainability initiatives.

Facilitated by our renewable energy partners Infra Futura and Empower New Energy, the visit formed part of the Ghana-Sweden Carbon Financing Program. An initiative championing scalable clean energy solutions. The delegation toured our 704kWp photovoltaic solar plant to gain first hand insight into how solar power is driving low-carbon industrial growth in Ghana.

Our CEO, Mr. Nadim Ghanem-Pares, led a thoughtful discussion on sustainability, the circular economy, and plastic recycling; highlighting how Miniplast is merging clean energy with responsible manufacturing to shape a more resilient industrial future.

Miniplast remains steadfast in its commitment to spearheading Ghana’s clean energy transition and sustainable manufacturing agenda in meaningfully contributing to,

SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy

SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production

SDG 13 – Climate Action

We remain committed to sharing knowledge, strengthening partnerships, and building a future where African industry thrives through innovation and sustainability.
